Flame Grilled BBQ Restaurant Shoreditch
If you’re only craving something light while you have a drink and a catch-up, Gibney’s bar snacks menu does not mess about. We’ve got succulent Korean Pork Bites adorned with spring onion and sesame, as well as the Chef’s Forerib of Beef and Bone Marrow Cheeseburger. Served perfectly with chips and a classic pint of lager. If you’ve got the gang out, we’ve got plenty to share. The Suckling Pig is perfect for 2 or 3 hungry pals and served with a crunchy salad, poached Pear and crispy pig ears. And a grand serving of 1 kg Irish Grass Fed Cote de Boeuf.
If you’re staying for more than just the one, the Daffy’s menu is superb. A barbecue restaurant in Shoreditch should always have the grill fired up; we can assure you we do. For starters, the Torched Octopus is a classic. Served with a delicious, fresh toasted focaccia, an incredible Lamb Sweetbread, drizzled with brown Butter, salsify and caramel. If you’d prefer something with a bit of crunch and a lot of flavour, we recommend the Scampi & Chips. Finished with fresh avocado and perfectly crunchy beer batter scratchings. And a menu favourite of almost every visitor is our Salt Chilli Fried Chicken. A must-have off the Daffy’s menu.
For mains off the barbecue, our Sugar Pit Pork is perfectly cooked and served with tasty puy lentils, charred hispi cabbage and a punchy garlic purée. Another favourite is the sensational Braised Wye Valley Lamb Shoulder, served with ewe’s curd, black garlic and baby gem. If you just can’t shake the feeling of needing something beefy, we cannot recommend the Tipperary Hereford Prime Sirloin highly enough. Served, of course, with punchy horseradish.
And, if you’d rather share the love of the grill, Daffy’s also serves that incredible Sucking Pig, an 800g Wood Fired Sirloin cooked to your preference, and the Irish Grass Fed Cotes de Boeuf. You won’t be leaving hungry, we can promise you that.

Whether you’re staying for just a drink or a whole meal, the drinks menu at Daffy’s will have your favourite tipple. If you’re craving a classic white wine, we have choices from vineyards from Spain, France, Italy and Austria. Treat yourself to a glass of Kamptal, Gruner Veltiner, or a refreshing bottle of a 2017 Domaine de Beudon, Petite Arvine Valais from Switzerland.
If you’re more of a red wine drinker and never get a drop-down ye, our “Sassi Rosso” Montepulciano Abruzzo from Italy is a smashing choice. Rich and flavourful, our reds pair exceptionally with our barbecue dishes. And if you’re looking to truly spoil yourselves, why not dive into one of our Magnum reds? We recommend the Christophe Mestre Cuvée des sommeliers Chateauneuf-du-Pape, a 2014 vintage from the esteemed region of Rhone, France.
If wine isn’t your thing and you’d prefer something a little more traditional… have a gander at our Irish Whiskey menu. We’ve got RedBreast, aged 12 Yrs single pot still triple distilled and matured in Oak casks for a truly sensational flavour. A spectacular Green Spot, and the Green Spot’s older brother, Yellow Spot, aged lovingly in a Malaga wine cask.
Or, if you’d like a slight change of atmosphere, Gibney’s Bar provides a menu with buckets of choice. Gin, Rum, Vodka, Tequila, and, of course, a selection of bottled beers and ciders, you’re guaranteed a great time at Gibney’s. We’ve got 5 Lamps Lager, Budvar, Rye River Pale Ale, our very own Gibney’s Stout, and, of course, a delicious, traditional Guinness, as well as a selection of soft drinks and juices if you don’t partake or simply don’t fancy an alcoholic drink.
