Gibney’s is a relaxed basement pub known for its excellent Guinness, a wide selection of Irish whiskeys, and not one, not two but three big screens to watch all the big sporting events on.

Full of craic and home to a menu of tasty bar snacks, Gibney’s is the perfect place to enjoy a pint after work, a drink and a catch-up with friends, or watch a big game on the big screens.

Full of craic

If you’re searching for a cracking location in London’s bustling Shoreditch, Gibney’s is your best bet. With a regular rotation of lively events, there’s always something to get the gang together for. From live sports events on the big screens to live music and stand-up comedians.

From Rugby Finals to World Cups of all kinds, we’ve got an exciting mix of sports matches to entice even the most casual of sports fans. If that’s not your thing, we’re certain you’ll want to stick around anyway, even if only for a cold pint and something tasty off the bar snacks menu.

The cosy basement vibes provide the perfect, relaxed setting to let loose and enjoy the enticing atmosphere. Whether you’re getting the group out of the house for a midweek drink and a catch-up, an after-work swift pint with the office lot, or a casual date and a pint of Guinness, Gibney’s is the perfect choice.

Cheers to that

We certainly champion that we’re the home of the best-poured pint this side of the Irish Sea, and that means Guinness, cider or beer. However, the drinks menu spans across region, spirit and tap to provide you with a fantastic selection.

If you’re a self-declared wine snob, we have curated the perfect list of old and new from tempting whites, decadent reds, sweet rosés and a selection of fabulous sparkling choices. From Chardonnay to Champagne, Pinot Noir to Pinot Grigio, just tell us how tall the glass and we’ll sort out the rest. If you prefer a strong spirit, we of course have a host of Irish Whiskeys: Writer’s Tears, Silkie, Jameson and a variety of Method & Madness to put some hairs on your chest. As well as a selection of other spirits, including vodka, gin, rum and tequila, perfect to on the rocks or mixed.

For those with a malty disposition, we’ve got a selection of draft beers on offer, including our very own Gibney’s Stout and Daffy’s IPA. If you’re firmly on the wagon and looking for low and no, we have a selection of softs and mineral drinks, including fruit juices, zero alcohol cocktails, hot drinks and stills, so you always have something to cheers with, whatever the occasion.

Delicious bar snacks

If you’re sticking around for some grub, our menu of bar snacks is as tantalising as it is tasty. Our bites menu includes some incredible choices such as our Korean Pork Bites with fresh spring onion and sesame seeds. Similarly, our Salt ‘n’ Chilli Chicken goes down perfectly with a pint of our very own Gibney’s Stout.

Our Cauliflower Bhaji with smoked pineapple and cashew cream is a plant-based masterpiece and deliciously flavoursome and the polar opposite of our deliciously meaty Chef’s Forerib of Beef & Bone Marrow Cheeseburger. If you’re welcome to the idea of sharing, why not have the full Gibney’s experience and treat yourself to the Suckling Pig or Wood-Fired Sirloin?
